jordans 2018 has never been stronger following the Cavaliers’ NBA championship this past June. It took contributions from all three players – LeBron’s career-defining block, Kyrie’s cold-blooded game-winning three, and Kevin Love’s defensive stopping of Steph Curry to win it all. Nike Basketball celebrated with the LeBron and Kyrie “Four Wins” Pack featuring four different combinations of the Kyrie 2 and LeBron Soldier 10 PEs that the two Swoosh stars laced up in each victory. Now we have some good news: The 4 Wins Pack Game 3 “Homecoming” selection just restocked today at Foot Locker’s 34th street location.NPD Group’s Matt Powell is a living sneaker OG. Step to him on Twitter and he’ll not only knock teenagers looking for a fight down a peg, but he brings industry-backed knowledge and insights with relative ease. It’s his job, after all. He just tweeted out 2016’s top 10 best selling shoes in the United States and the list goes as follows: the adidas Superstar leads the pack followed by the Air Jordan 12, the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star Low, The Nike Roshe Run, the Nike Huarache, the Nike Revolution,The Nike Free Run, the Air Jordan 11, the Nike Air Force 1 Low, and the Nike Kyrie 2.
Nike Air Jordan 2017 have gone through so much in their respective roads to recovery, so designing a pair of kicks for Nike is a piece of cake. This year’s collection, which was officially unveiled on Friday, October 28th, is the thirteenth collaboration between Nike and OHSU, and on this year’s menu of options is the Air Jordan 7, Air Max Zero, Kyrie 2, Air Huarache Ultra, and Stefan Janoski Max. There are specific design details that go behind the wild and crazy colorways that have come from the Doernbecher initiative, and all six designers sat down with OHSU to describe what exactly went behind their unique designs. The 2016 Nike Doernbecher Collection will release on December 17th on Nike SNKRS, Nike.com, and select retailers nationwide. Included in this year’s collection is the Air Jordan 7 Retro, Nike Kyrie 2, Nike Air Max Zero for men and women, Nike Air Huarache Ultra, and Nike Stefan Janoski Max. All proceeds from the sales of the Doernbecher merchandise will go directly toward the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital; in 2015, sales from the merchandise raised $1.6 million. Get another look at the full collection ahead and mark your calendars for December 17th.
Best Jordans 2018 will be doing something completely different when it comes to the upcoming What The colorway of the Nike Kyrie 2. For starters, we’ll be seeing not one, but two different colorways release. The first is the tonal Green Glow and the second is this Sail pair.Differentiating itself from prior “What The” releases, Nike decided to abandon the color mashup on the Kyrie 2 model and instead go with a material mash up. What do we mean? Well instead of combining together past colorways of the Kyrie 2, Nike decided to take a more monotone, sculptural, dimensional execution with very minimal color pops. The Nike team tells the story of the “What The” Kyrie 2 in a three dimensional fashion with textural graphics carefully molded on both shoes. This Sail colorway nods back to the debut “Dream” Kyrie 2, while the green glow edition acknowledges the “Kyrie-oke” edition.Kevin Durant’s signature series has always featured a grade school colorway that paid homage to KD’s love of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, but he’s not the only Nike Basketball signature athlete that has a fondness for the sweet sandwich. Kyrie Irving enlisted famous customizer Mache for this latest Nike Kyrie 2 known as the “Just Jelly” colorway.
